PANAJI: Cuncolim authorities on Wednesday detained three guys from IDC Cuncolim for resisting two-wheelers from Margao, Assolna, Velim, Margao and Quepem. Police also detained a scrap trader in Margao and recovered all of the Stolen vehicles, worth Rs 3.2 lakh.
Throughout their nighttime patrol on Wednesday, Cuncolim authorities apprehended two guys, Sachin Pednekar, 23 and Arjun Godbole, 19, that had been going around in a questionable way. They had been to a black two-wheeler together with front number plate missing. After the duo couldn’t justify their motion, or create ownership specifics of their two-wheeler in their ownership, they detained under section 41 of the CrPc.
On interrogation, they confessed it was stolen from Margao and they had stolen three additional from Assolna, Velim and Adnem, Quepem. They also revealed that the thefts was committed upon the directions of Saddham Hussain from IDC Cuncolim.
The authorities later apprehended Hussain, 23.
The duo also stated the stolen two-wheelers were offered to a scrap dealer, Arif Khan, 26, in Rawanfond, Margao.
Authorities then penalizes Khan and recovered all of the stolen two-wheelers. He had been detained as the recipient of stolen land.
