I’m Gonna Piss You Off

I’m Gonna Piss You Off

Yes, I’m gonna piss you off today.

I think you forgot something. Something very important.

What are you waiting for? Are you waiting for a sign from God, aliens, or Saint Johnny Walker? Sit down and take a look at your life. Ask yourself, “What’s my biggest suffering? That suffering that makes my stomach shrink, my fist clench, and the rage burst?”

I want you to remember the promises you made in the worst moments of your life. I want you to realize that your Vocation is hidden in your worst Suffering. You need to turn your suffering into vocation.

There was nothing in your life painful enough to make you swear you wouldn’t get through this anymore? Are you made of stone? Are you amnesiac? Are you stupid?

What greater motivation, direction, and goal in your life could you need than to wake up in the morning knowing that your mission is to get rid of your suffering forever? Is it so difficult to look around you and realize that there are many others that suffer? Share what you’ve learned in your journey. Don’t waste your pain. Turn it into fuel, turn it into motivation, give a meaning to it, and use it as your weapon.

This is the vocation

Turn your pain into vocation.

All your pain and suffering, all your troubles and your doubts are caused by not finding your vocation. The stress and the struggle within that come from the fact that you think you have no vocation are a major suffering in your life. Your vocation will release the abundance in your life.

Do you know why so many famous people are junkies? Because they’ve reached the top and they still haven’t found their fulfillment. They have all that others dream – abundance, money, attention, lifestyle – but they get high in order to forget the truth that hurts. The truth that they climbed a peak only to realize it was not the peak they wanted to climb.
The rest can’t afford to buy drugs. They are expensive, illegal and only available in exclusivist circles, so common people take a cheaper and legal drug.

They became alcoholic. People come home after an exhausting working day and have one or two glasses of their favorite drink in order to relax. The problem is that this has already been happening for some years. And do you know why? Because they work like slaves, they have families and responsibilities, they have no joy in their lives, they haven’t felt the pleasure of making love since they were young, they don’t laugh and don’t play, although they possess all the things that were supposed to make them happy…

But THEY ARE NOT HAPPY.

I want to help you, that’s why I am here. But you have to move your ass and take action. I can’t carry you on my back over the finish line. Not because I don’t want to do it, but because it’s only you that can walk on your path.

People always ask me, “Bogdan, help me discover my vocation!”

Well, although it’s your mission to discover your vocation, I can guide you, but only at the beginning of your journey. So I’m gonna keep on pissing you off.

Do you really wanna discover your vocation?

Define your Worst Suffering. Take your time. Don’t think about the small ones. Think about the worst ones. Those that left the deepest scars, those that have marked you for life. You may have overcome and forgotten them by now, but they still affect your present life.

I want you to speak out your worst pain and suffering. Did you live in poverty? How did it affect your soul? Maybe your child was sick and you couldn’t afford the medication and got to hate the world, the society that let this happen. Maybe you couldn’t afford things that others could buy and this made you feel unworthy, ashamed, small. Maybe you loved, but you didn’t have your own house or money, and the poverty prevented you from living your love story.

No matter what your worst pain was, your vocation is to earn enough to never let it happen again, and more than that, to share what you learned in your journey.

This is the vocation

Did you suffer because of lack of love? Were you left and rejected? Were you been cheated and betrayed?

If this is your worst suffering, then your vocation is to live love and happiness for the rest of your life and never let yourself be hurt by other people, and then to help others solve the same kind of problem.

If you were ill and maybe still are, and this is your biggest suffering, your vocation is to find a way to heal yourself and to live a better life in spite of all the handicaps, and when you find the way, to help others in the same situation.

This is the vocation

The suffering is the most obvious sign used by God to show you the path you have to follow.

“God whispers to us in our pleasures, speaks to us in our conscience, but shouts in our pains: It is His megaphone to rouse a deaf world” (C.S. Lewis)

Having vocation is a matter of character, choice and common sense. Vocation has nothing to do with magic, luck or stars’ alignment. What’s your worst suffering? Solve it and heal it for you and for others. If you can’t solve it for yourself, how can you claim more?

What’s the meaning of your suffering? Do you know where the word “Passion” comes from?

Yes, passion. This passion we all desperately search, this passion that almost guarantees our happiness, our results, and finally, a happy life. We hear this words on the lips of all the gurus out there, but few people know what it really means. Right now I’m curious if you’ll have an “Aha” moment.

The word “Passion” comes from the Latin word “Patior”, meaning “Suffer”. It’s the meaning it has in Christianity, “The Passion of Jesus Christ”.

Jesus suffered for his beliefs, but it was not a useless, meaningless suffering. On the contrary, it was an assumed suffering, he knew well what its purpose was and where it would lead.

Well, passion does not only mean something that you like to do from the heart of hearts. It means to give a noble purpose to your pain. You may have heard some people saying, “All that happens is on my own behalf”. This is passion. To take your suffering and turn it into vocation. So, if you’re looking for vocation and passion they may be right in your sight, in your suffering.

Take a look at your life. What’s the worst suffering that you want to heal?

Is it poverty? Is it an illness? Is it the lack of love? Think about it. If you were able to heal it, don’t you think you would feel a deep motivation to help others, now that you have the cure?

Look at passionate people that have found their vocation. They are often people that have gone through a deep suffering and how they dedicate their lives to save others from that suffering. I’m one of those people.

I was poor. I was ashamed of me, ashamed of my life and my lack of achievements. I hated my life but I was afraid to change anything. I was afraid to take action. I was afraid of success and of what others might think about me. I was afraid of everything.

I built walls of silence around myself and my soul was dying inside.

I had been on the wrong track for many years, trapped on a job I hated, until I was forced to choose: to be the accomplice of a corrupt boss and risk to end up in jail for the sake of a stable salary, or to leave and fight to survive and feed my family as a free wolf.

Suffering is the clearest sign that tells you which way should you chose. Throughout this suffering, a small ray of light appeared. I read as you read know:

If you are on the lowest level of your life, you have two options: You can sit down and crack or you can train your skills and develop your personality because you have nothing else left in this world, only yourself and what you’re able to do.

You have your attitude, your emotions, your mind and your hands. Whatever you may want in this life – money, love, health, lifestyle – depends on your personality.

I had three kids to feed and no other chance but myself. I read, I studied, I learned, and I applied. Now I know a secret that many people seem to miss:

You create your own reality

“We are what we think. Everything we are rises along with our thoughts. We create the world through our thoughts. Speak or act with an impure mind and the trouble will follow you, like the wheel that follows the cart pulled by the cow. But if with a pure mind a person speaks or acts, happiness follows them like a never-departing shadow.” (Buddha)

Sanitariums, jails, and cemeteries are full of people that couldn’t understand life, love and the others. Sad and depressed people that can’t find their way are all around us. I had walked in their shoes, so I started to help.

Don’t give up. It can be done.

It’s just temporary. Learn to live with little and you’ll see that life is not about what you have, but about what you become. And when you turn into the man you can become, you’ll have all that you lack now, and you’ll laugh because when you have it all, you’ll realize you don’t even need all that much.

I walk on my path. I work to get the most out of myself, to get better, but in the meantime, I like to share what I’ve learned and applied to improve my life. I realized this is the perfect job for me. I earn my living helping others fulfill their lives.

So… to piss you off till the end…

What the fuck are you waiting for?
