The Donauinsel Open Air Championship begins in Vienna today, which is being held for the second time this year. This time it takes four days. Notable stars include Baywatch star David Hasselhoff and 90s icon Jasmine Wagner, known as Bloomschen.

This time too, Donauinsel Open Air consists of several themed days and several festivals within one. “Al Jazeera Electronic” launches on Thursday. German DJs Robin Schulz (“Sun Goes Down”) and Topic (“Breaking me”), among others, will appear.
Friday's theme is “Baler Island”. For example, successful concert singers Micky Krause, Mia Julia, Issy Gluck and Dee Atzen will appear on stage. On the third day of the festival, Danube Island is set to become a '90s party, with hits like “What is Love” by Hadaway, “Herz an Herz” by Blumchin, and “Mr. In Vain” by Culture Beat. Motto for this day: “It's my life.”

The 1980s festival “Forever Young” concludes on Sunday. Baywatch star David Hasselhoff, British pop singer Kim Wilde and Irish singer Johnny Logan will appear. Entry opens in the afternoon on all days of the festival, but at different times – between 2pm and 4pm. The place is located on the Danube Island near the Danube Bridge, and can be reached via U6 Handelskai or Neue Donau stations.
