A deserved draw against the league leaders
Vienna fought for a single point against SKN St. Pölten in the 11th round of the Women's German League. In the 95th minute, Claudia Wasser, Vienna's captain, equalized for the Blue and Yellow against the series champion.
A promising start
Our guests had their first chance of the match with a free kick from approximately 25 metres. Mikolagova took it and the Ball went just over the goal. The She-Wolves dominated the game, but there was no chance of getting past the Vienna defense at the moment. But Vienna also took the lead in front of the opponent's goal. The ball passed a few centimeters past the goal. The visitors became more dangerous, often creating big chances through standard situations.
Behind after a long shot
The Dobling women found themselves in increasing trouble. In the 65th minute, Seidl had to save the ball on the goal line twice after a corner kick. In the 73rd minute, SKN St. Pölten. Mikolajova shot from long range and the ball hit the corner. Piplits had no chance.
The equalizer at the last second
