Next parliamentary election is too near that far away. The daily increasing fuel price and a steep jump in cooking gas price are not going to excuse Modiji so easily. Certainly, the price rise of other commodities too is also going to blow the wind away from Modi wave. The steep increase in medical insurance premium is another shock the middle class has to bear.

Modiji can claim that his government is free of any corruption charges. But people are not that serious about corruption because how many corrupt politicians Modiji’s government has punished so far? All most all big-ticket scams hyped during 2014 election were busted like a balloon in the court of law and all accused walked free without any stain of scam. So using the above as an achievement is not going to cut much ice with people in 2019.

Perhaps the government can boost its achievement that it could lay highways for more kilometers in short time, auctioned coal in a fair manner etc. But at the end of the poor man and middle class remains the same with the same old struggles and sufferings. None of the reform measures of Modiji look so appealing to people because it has not even touched their life let alone bring transformation.

At the end of the day, every Indian count his pocket for money and it appears nothing much has changed at ground zero. Whether some ministry or minister looted the nation or not is that important for the poor man but how the government has improved their daily life is the question people are asking.

If such scams in the past had not affected their lives and their life was progressing, then why to bother about scams and corruption is the opinion people have started to debate and discuss. People are also dismayed that what great change has happened to their life by the so-called corruption-free government of Modiji?

People were expecting ache din but it looks like their days have turned out to be बुरा din (bad days) thanks to the fuel price. All the cock and bull story BJP spins as justification, people are not going to listen as people are increasingly unhappy with Modiji.

Modiji has converted the government as mere landlord or pawnbroker, interested only in making money for the government by milking poor people. The road ahead for Modiji is not smooth and easy. Even the core supporters of BJP are getting angry with Modiji and want to punish BJP for its corporate approach of milking people and earning for itself.

It looks like Modiji’s government may be the first government in independent India to have no charges of scams and corruption and Modiji’s government may be the first government India to the loose election in 2019 despite having not charged of corruption against the government.

At the end of the day, people also look at how their individual life has changed and how their economy has improved. No one would look at India as a whole and its overall growth and development and would neglect inflation, struggles, dwindling saving, increasing tax burden etc., as global phenomena.

Modiji is promoting Indian-ism at the cost of the individual life of average Indians and making him pauper from the status of poor.
If the united opposition give an oath to people of India that they would provide fuel and cooking gas at half of the present rate and list the regulation of prices of all commodities they would bring like how the price control of drugs are being implemented and followed it in letter and spirit, certainly people would throw BJP to an unknown land.

Every individual wants nothing but change their lives and not rhetoric or neo-nationalism. People want scientific and organic growth and not the growth and popularization of faith healing practices and cross pathy by faith healers.

Hope some not deaf ears in BJP would hear the voice of people.
