Estranged AAP leader Kumar Vishwas Apologies to Arun Jaitley Apology

Estranged Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and one of the founders of the Party Kumar Vishwas on a sought apology to Arun Jaitley senior BJP leader in the Delhi High Court pleading Jaitley to drop the defamation case filed by Jaitley.
Vishwas said he had been influenced by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and described Kejriwal as a liar and a coward.Vishwas, Kejriwal along with other AAP leaders had made allegations of corruption against Jaitley during the tenure of Jaitely as president of the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA).

Already Kejriwal and his party colleagues sought apologies to Jaitley after they were could not prove their charges in court. The High Court then disposed of the Rs 10 crore defamation suit against them.

But Vishwas did not issue an apology at the time and his office said that he plans to pursue the cases filed against him. However, at that time the court had asked him to make his stand clear on the defamation suit.
Advocate Amit Yadav, appearing for Vishwas before Justice Rajiv Sahai Endlaw, expressed regret for levelling the allegations.Vishwas’ advocate also produced in court Vishwas’s letter to Jaitley where Vishwas claimed that Kejriwal assured them that he has documents to prove the alleged financial irregularities in the DDCA during Jaitley’s tenure as president from 2000-2013.
He further said that as an obedient party worker he only repeated what the party supremo had said.  This happens in every political party. This is the reason behind why he along with other party men called Mr Jaitley, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, advocate Kapil Sibal and some social workers corrupt
Levelling allegation against Arvind Kejriwal, Vishwas said that he Kejriwal knew that if he is convicted in these defamation cases, he will be jailed and will have to give his chair to Manish Sisodia and he would never give his seat to Sisodia. To save his seat Kejriwal apologised and settled his civil and criminal cases.
Kejriwal never discussed the matter with anybody in the party and he decided all the matter of his own to say sorry to people who have lodged cases against him. It is Kejriwal’s nature to leave the battleground and fall on the feet of enemies and leave others in a lurch. The CM is a habitual liar and he always indulges in such affairs to save his chair, the letter said.
Seeking pardon Vishwas said he is extremely sorry for the damage caused to Jaitely by this liar and coward leader and seeks further apology, the reads further.Advocate Manik Dogra and Senior counsel Rajiv Nair appearing for Jaitley stated that their client had accepted the request made by Vishwas. Later on, HC disposed of the suit against Vishwas following Jaitley’s acceptance of the apology.
