The Much Anticipated Trailer Of Rajinikanth’s Kaala Released ‘Uncertainty Of Release In Karnataka’
The much-anticipated trailer of Rajinikanth’s Kaala has been released on Monday. With a strong political message superstar Rajinikanth is all set to surprise his fans with his upcoming movie set to be released on the first week of June but at the same time, several Kannada groups have threatened to stall Kaala’s release in Karnataka due to the film’s controversial stand on Cauvery water issue. The trailer of the movie begins with Nana Patekar, who wants to wipe out the slums of Dharavi. It is followed by the mass introduction scene of Rajinikanth.
He is all set to fight for the rights of Tamils. It majestically shows the actor’s screen presence. The minute-and-a-half long trailer ends with a rousing speech by Kaala. He tries to organise the masses into a rebellion of sorts. The movie seems to address the issue of land and water rights that people of the present day are facing.
The scene of the movie is set in Dharavi where Rajinikanth plays the role of a gangster and he is known as Kaala Karikalan. Veteran Bollywood actor Nana Patekar plays the role of the main antagonist named Hari Dada, a powerful politician of that locality.
The movie is being produced by Dhanush’s home production Wunderbar Films. The other actors who have lead roles in the movie are -, Huma Qureshi, Samuthirakani, Eswari Rao, and Anjali Patil in supporting roles.

The music is given by Santhosh Narayanan. The music director is working with Rajinikanth for the second consecutive time. The trailer did not show much of the story but shows Rajinikanth’s candid moments with Huma Qureshi and Eswari Rao.
The movie was supposed to be released on 27 April but the release date had to be deferred as several Kannada organisations have been opposing the release of Kaala. They allege that the movie portrays the water issue of Karnataka in a negative way.
On Tuesday the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce (KFCC) has convened a meeting with the several distributor and exhibitors of the film. As pressure are mounting from various Kannada organisations against the release of the film. The situation has reached to such an extent that even some organisations are demanding an apology on the part of the actor. Amidst uncertainty and anticipation, Kaala is slated for release on June 7 in Tamil, Telegu and Hindi.
