Ever since Yogi Adityanath has become the Chief Minister of UP, there were debates from all quarters whether he is going to opt for a popular Sangh-oriented government in the state.
Anyhow, in reality, Yogi Adityanath has making a dream run and with the first budget too, he has not failed to impress the peers. He has presented the highest budget for the state, amounting to Rs 4,28,384.52 Crore for the economic year 2018-19.
This is indeed a surprising one and the amount allocated is 11.4% higher than the fiscal. Like a true statesman, he didn’t opt for a populist one, rather looked more concerned to focus on improving infrastructure for the state.
That is why, Rs 650 crore has been allocated for Bundelkhand Expressway Project, Rs 550 crore for Gorakhpur Link Expressway Project, Rs 1000 crore for Purvanchal Expressway and Rs 500 crore for Agra-Lucknow Expressway.
Be it Kumbh Mela or Kanha Gau-shala or ‘Besahara Pashu Ashray Yojana’ – Yogi Adityanath has concentrated on key asepcts which are intertwined to UP as a whole.
Interestingly he has earmarked Rs 18,167 crore for basic education under Sarva Siksha Abhiyan scheme. Along with that, UP CM has allocated Rs 76 crore for free books and Rs 40 crore for school uniforms. Side by side, added allocation has been confirmed for mid day meal and fruits as well.
Truly, the UP CM deserves all the acclocades for giving such importance to school education. During poll campaign, Yogi Adityanath promised of farmer loan waiver and in the budget itself, he has kept his promise by allocating a special provision of Rs 36,000 crore.
Be it MSME, roads and power – The Yogi Adityanath UP budget has almost all the aspects covered. No doubt, Yogi Adityanath has triumphed over fellow other Chief Ministers with his first budget.
