He is also said to have sent some of the photos of classified documents to other people as well. It seems like an espionage ring is operating with the support of some officials within the government agency.
The accused is a group captain, almost equivalent to colonel in the army. He is detained by the officials and being questioned about the persons to whom he was sending the pictures taken from his smartphone. It is expected that the accused has been lured or threatened to get the confidential documents from the Air Force Head Quarters.
The inquiry is going on to ascertain if he has already sent any other documents earlier. Further, efforts are on to trace the unidentified woman and other people who have been receiving the confidential files from the accused.
