In a shocking incident, a 19-year-old boy in Patna Shot himself with a semi-automatic pistol while on the video call with his girlfriend. The victim was identified as Akash Kumar, aged 19, who lives in Shishak in Patna.

The boy was on a video call in WhatsApp with a girl. He threatened to kill himself in the video call holding a semi-automatic pistol. The girl insisted him to remove the bullets and not to shoot himself. The boy is said to have shot himself without realizing that there was another bullet in the pistol.

The boy was also known to have failed in the exams recently. His parents are said to have asked him to end the relationship with the girl and focus on his studies. The exact reason for the extreme step taken by the boy is not yet known.

It’s not even confirmed if he shot himself intentionally or if he tried to threaten and shot himself accidentally. The family members of the boy have filed a case on the girl and her family.

Police are investigating the reasons behind the death of the boy and the possible role of the girl in abetting suicide.
