Gurgaon NGO Team In Mumbai For “Do Not Honk Campaign”

A team of one hundred volunteers from Haryana specially Gurugram, have already left personally all the way to Mumbai to participate in the “Do not Honk” Campaign.

The campaign will be held at Toll Gate of Bandra – Worli, Rajiv Gandhi Sea Link, Bandra, Mumbai, Maharashtra on 3rd February 2018 (Saturday) from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. It is being spearheaded by a Gurgaon based registered NGO “The Earth Saviours Foundation”.

“We are expecting around six hundred people from different parts of Mumbai to participate in this huge campaign. This will be the second biggest campaign against honking in the world.

People from a different segment of the society are participating in the event. This includes several dignitaries from different embassies, active armed forces personnel’s, several NGOs, institutions, corporates, schools, celebrities from Bollywood, Residential Welfare Associations, Politicians and several prominent people of the city,” said Ravi Karla, Founder of Earth Saviors Foundation.

“Due to the increasing noise pollution, we are planning to campaign in different parts of the country in phases. After Mumbai we will also campaign in other metro cities of our country,” added Karla.

The Earth Saviours Foundation also runs a shelter home in Bandhwai village where there are 400 abandoned and mentally, physically challenged senior citizens living and being taken care of by TESF.
