The ongoing two days Msme World Expo 2018 being held at NSIC((National Small Industries Corp. Ltd, A Govt of India Enterprise), A.S. Rao Nagar, ECIL, Hyderabad is throwing a challenge to MNCs in terms of products and service offerings.

The Expo became a venue for the launch of many innovative products and services by MSMEs. These are on par with MNCs. That is why it is said, today’s MSMEs are tomorrow’s MNCs.

Some of these include: Sunrio, India’s first LED TV, available in wide range of 4K U HD TV, LED Smart TV and LED TV. It is a “Made in Telangana” product informed G.Venu, MD of Sunrio Technologies Pvt. Ltd.

This Hyderabad-based company, SUNRIO Technologies Pvt Limited will set up LED TV manufacturing unit with an investment of Rs 20 crores at Medchal near here.

Speaking on the occasion, the company Managing Director G Venu said that the TV manufacturing unit is one among the 3 such units in South India, he said the unit is likely to come up in next one year and the company manufactures 13 variants from 16 inches to 65 inches 4K ultra HD LED TV, price ranging from Rs 6,000 to 1.19 lakh.

Our initial capacity of the unit is 800 TVs per day and we will expand it depending on the demand, he informed that our price was much lower than branded TV products and no compromise in the quality. Even before the formal launch of the product, it has already sold 5000 units, Venu added.

Supusti Foods unveiled their service, i.e the delivery of Sprouts at the doorstep. We are Sproutswala, like Chaiwala and Paperwala, announced Rajesh Gajawada, CEO of Supusti Foods, a MSME/ a Startup. We provide Nutrition Boxes, Healthy sprouts to homes at events, he declared. Saiteja, another founder of the Supusti Foods said healthy food is not available. Whether you like or not, you will end up eating unhygienic, fried food. Our endeavor is to see that healthy sprouts are available and they must be door delivered like the way milk and newspaper are delivered everyday morning, That is our dream, he announced.

The two years old MSME already home delivers sprouts to 750 homes every day. They supply 14,600 kilograms of sprouts valuing about Rs 1crore every year to various homes/offices/events/outlets across the city.

Soon we will also introduce morning needs by supplying oats, milk, and cut fruits, they informed. These 50grams of sprouts are home delivered for just for Rs 10/- per and Rs 260 per month. They charge Rs 40/- delivery charge per month.
