Chief Minister expressed his displeasure over the long foreign tour of HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao and Special Chief Secretary Adityanath Das. ‘Usually, The work will be completed within one or two days in foreign tours. What is the need for staying so many days? I prefer sending 10 People to foreign countries though it’s expensive because of the hope that at least 3 of them will change. These days, I’m scared of sending anybody to foreign countries’.

Naidu advised Officials to talk less and work more during the Video Conference. ‘What will be the use if you just speak without working at the grassroots level?’ he questioned.

CM pointed out that only 5 Months were left to make AP an Open-Defecation Free State. He aims construction of 22 lakh toilets across the state by March next year. Officials were directed to use nice paints for the Toilets and name them as ‘Atma Gouravam’. Directions have been given to make people actively participate in the Swachha Bharat programme. Those Students who choose Swachha Bharat and Social Service as their project work will receive 5 percent marks.

RTGS MD Babu offered a powerpoint presentation to AP CM. He informed that 22,50,667 complaints had been received from people through the call centre opened by the State Government. About 56 percent of people were happy with the TDP Government. Earlier, It used to be 58 percent. The acceptance of people is just 52 percent in Districts such as Nellore, Kurnool, Visakha and Kadapa. CM reiterated that focus should be on ensuring 80 percent of people are happy with TDP rule.
