Actress Kavitha is unhappy over the less prominence she has been receiving in TDP. She had openly expressed her anguish on the TDP Leadership quite a few times already. At the time of Mahanadu, Kavitha accused TDP Leaders of deliberately insulting her by not even allowing to be on the dais. ‘I worked sincerely for TDP when it was in the Opposition. But, I was sidelined after forming the Government. A decision on my future will be taken after discussing with my followers,’ told the teary-eyed Actress in May this year.

Seems like, Kavitha has made up her mind to join BJP. The meeting she had with BJP’s Telangana unit president Laxman hints the same. She might join the saffron party soon with the hope of contesting from one of the Assembly constituencies in next elections. Neither Kavitha nor BJP confirmed the reports in circulation.

Jeevitha Rajasekhar wasn’t much active politically though she joined BJP long back and her role was limited to just being the Censor Board member. BJP responded positively to the entry of Kavitha as the party is in need of a woman leader who could campaign aggressively.

For the next elections, BJP is keen to end the alliance with TDP & contest alone in all the constituencies of Telangana. So, Kavitha is the view that joining the saffron party will be a safe bet. Let’s see if Modi Wave could fulfill her dream!
