Like The Game, am bringing you my dreams. Am sure Monsieur Wenger wont jump into the transfer market with the enthusiasm of a Gambler who has just gotten lucky or like his Spanish counterpart at Anfield or Grant at Chelsea, but i was, to quote the game, “daydreaming yesterday” about it. What if he decided spending was the way to go and he needed big names, whom would we bring to the Emirates. These are the footballers i dreamt about:

-Ronaldinho: Its no secret that the brazilian wizard is unsettled at Camp de Nou and that he’s no longer at good terms with the club meaning they are looking for a buyer. So i imagined if we went for Dinho and got him for around 30m pounds. Most clubs spend more than that and we would have got a big name, a big performer and someone to push the team in Europe. Am sure Dinho wouldn’t have problems signing for Arsenal but would his night life be tolerated? Wouldn’t he be a bad example to our young players? would he miss training? Would his ego affect the club? Would we be labelled a one man club? One thing is certain-he would instil fear in our opponents and his a big match performer.

-David Villa-After expressing his desire to join the gunners, there’s no way am not dreaming about the Spanish hitman. He would be expensive but we surely have the money now. We’d of course fight for his signature  with the usual suspects like Chelsea, Pool, Madrid.  His unquestionably  a stylish striker and a 20-goal-a-season striker but would he settle in the team in his first season Torres-style or would we buy another Reyes? Would he inhibit the growth of our young strikers like Bendtner and Walcott? Whom would we partner him with? Since Van Persie is normally injured, i would imagine Adebayor? What a dream partnership!

-Mikael Arteta: Although not really a big name, he’s a player i dream of us signing reasons being he would perfectly replace Fabregas, he can be deployed on the flanks and i just dream about the new aspects of the game that he would bring to our side-shooting from range, free-kicks, dangerous corners and crosses et cetera. My dream signing. Far better than that Rosicky who gets paid to be injured.

-Jan Klaas Huntelar: Every one knows Arsenal’s Achilles Heel has always been a natural fnisher,a fox-in-the-box, an Inzaghi, a Van Nilsterooy. Eduardo was starting to be one before Taylor attempted to amputate his leg and we know he might never be the same. Finishers don’t come better than the ‘Hunter.’ His statistics in front of goal are amazing.

-Quaresma: A dream answer to United’s Ronaldo. I once read a poll on the net asking Gunner fans which player they would love to see at the Emirates and this Portuguese wizard came top. He scores a lot, has pace and his skills on the ball are a joy to watch. He’s matured a lot since his Barca nightmare and i think he’s just ready to join a big league and prove he’s as good as the rest. His weaknesses include  overelaboration on the ball just like Ronaldo a few seasons ago but he’s young and can learn a lot under Wenger.

-James Milner: Finally an Englishman. That’s a dream at Arsenal. Am an astute fan of the Newcastle winger beacause of his pace, workrate, crossing and shooting from range. He always plays well against us and the Devils so i dream about him joining us. He’s young and i rate him highly.

-Gareth Barry: Yet another Englishman with the work rate of Gerrard and Flamini who is ready to join a big club and cement his place in England. He’s versatile because he plays in a lot of positions and would fit in our side.

-Diego Capel: Another wonderkid from Spain whom i rate highly having watched him playing for Spain in world cup for under 18 or 20 m not sure which but he’s an old fashioned winger in the mould of Reyes and very young.

-Dimitar Berbatov: Unless he’s on a bosman, the spuds woul never sell him to us so he’ll end up at Chelsea or Milan plus he would be too expensive but certainly worth the money. He’s very classy and would push our ambitions especially in Europe.

-Agbonlahor: Its always a dream to get his name right but he would be a useful acqusition to us. He can play as a winger or a striker and he has that Arsenal pace. He also English.
