An acrobat drops past onlookers in an office window on a building in the landmark Rockefeller Center during the 'Target Vertical Fashion Show' in New York, July 27, 2005.
Acrobats dropped from the roof of the nine-storey building in fashions from Target department store's Fall 2005 women's and men's collection in an outdoor presentation."
Oh. K.
Of course. Models. Jumping out of windows. Yes. It seems so logical now that I really think it through. I mean that's exactly how I wanna see the new season's fashion. Whizzing past me at 100mph:
"oh-look-she's-wearing-the-new-fall-season-hipsterpants-and- haltertop-combination-well-I-think-she-is-it-could-be-a-guy-I'm-not-sure..."
SPLAT!
Don'tcha just find it...y'know...a bit tasteless that they chose to push models out of the windows of tall buildings in New York. The city where the memory of people doing this is, doubtless, still terrifyingly fresh in the minds of Manhattenites?
Still. It gives new meaning to the phrase: "Girl, you looking street in that outfit."
