I was driving on the 401 highway a few days ago, when I received a call from our Support department about a case that had just been opened by one of our customers. I just happened to be on my way there already, but since I was driving, I decided to send a text message to the person who had called (a lady), whom I do know but not very well, using the speech recognition feature.

I pressed the speaker button and then proceeded to speak: ‘Hi, this is Gabriel with AGFA. I am on my way and should be there within an hour’

For some reason, I decided to wait until I pulled over for a coffee (I was very close) so I would check the message before I hit send. Too good I did! This is what my SMS message said:

Venía manejando por la autopista 401 hace unos días, cuando recibí una llamada de nuestro departamento de Soporte Técnico, acerca de un caso que había abierto uno de nuestros clientes. Yo justo estaba en camino a ese hospital, pero como estaba manejando, decidí enviarle al cliente (una señora a la que conozco pero no tanto) un mensaje de texto, usando la opción de reconocimiento de voz.

Apreté el botón del micrófono y redacté: ‘Hola, soy Gabriel de AGFA. Estoy en camino y debería estar allí en menos de una hora’
