Two stories above our apartment there is a single room that Jon and I have rented for about a year. We've been using it as storage and it has really just turned in to a catchall mess. Last weekend we decided that the time had come to sort through the mess and turn the room in to an actual room that we could hang out in.

Now this is a tad embarrassing....but here is the before.

There were things from guitars, coffee tables (2), beer making kits, my wedding dress....you get the idea. So we spent Saturday sorting through all of this stuff and turned it in to a small-ish pile in the center of the room. And then we put down the first coat of paint-Devine Mirage from Target. It covered really nicely and there was hardly any smell! Well done Target! The next day we went back in there and did the second coat. It is amazing what a difference a coat of paint can make to a room! The next step is to move in furniture, arrange all the stuff we want to store and hang some pictures. I was kinda dragging my feet on this whole room flip at first but now I'm pretty excited!
