What happens when you hand Star Wars over to a visually skilled director? Apparently you get Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
The second trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story has been released, and while I have some issues with it (mainly, it’s a fairly sloppy trailer), I am blown away by the visuals we’re seeing. Just look at that shot above of the missile flying towards the AT-ACT (no, that isn’t a typo). I’m in.
Add in shots of a TIE Fighter rising up to threaten Jyn, a Star Destroyer hovering over an outpost and so on, and it looks like Gareth Edwards really enjoyed his time playing in a galaxy far, far away.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story hits theaters on Dec. 16.
