I know I’m late to the Killing Eve party, but I don’t care. It’s as good as everyone says.

I’m five episodes into season 1 and I’m making myself watch it at a one-a-day-pace otherwise I know I would already be done and craving more.

Based on the Codename Villanelle novella series, the story follows Eve Polastri (Sandra Oh) as she tries to track down Villanelle (Jodie Comer) a new Russian assassin wreaking havoc. The two women become obsessed with each other, and heaven forbid anyone get in their way.

The series was developed by Phoebe Waller-Bridge which is what got my attention. She has been brought in to punch up the Bond 25 script, and I am now fully convinced she can do it. Killing Eve is tense, and filled with danger around every corner.

Season 2 is currently airing, and season 1 is available on various streaming services.
