Do you remember in Grease when we hear “Summer Nights” and we learn of the summer romance that happened between Danny and Sandy? You know, how that song tells you absolutely everything you need to know? Yeah… too bad… they need to blow it out to a whole movie.

Paramount is currently in development on a Grease prequel movie. You say you don’t need it? Too bad, you’re getting it and you’re going to like it!

I hear about a lot of really silly movie ideas, and this one ranks up there. One song tells you everything you need to know. And you know what else? It essentially spoils this new movie.

I’ve said it before, but it’s worth saying again: Hollywood is clearly out of ideas.
