Warner Bros. is said to be working on a Horror-based Aquaman spinoff. According to the reports it is totally based on The Trench portion of the film.

Part of me is puzzling over this, but there is another part of me that is thinking, “Sure. Why not?”

The time has probably come for the studios to realize that comic book stories come in all shapes and colors and we should be exploring some of that. DC in particular has a rich history with horror and you could go into a whole horror genre just from its back catalog.

I say more power to Warner Bros. Lets go the low-budget horror route that has worked so well for so many others. I’m game to give it a go.
