The Simpsons Renewal on Wednesday wasn’t a huge surprise, but how is this even going to work?

With a renewal for seasons 31 and 32, The Simpsons will set more records, will hit 713 episodes and so on. But will it still air on Fox channels?

With Disney acquiring Fox, it couldn’t acquire the TV affiliates due to its ownership of ABC. Fox is supposed to be heading towards more sports and reality programming since it won’t have a studio any more, so maybe Disney is licensing the episodes to Fox now?

This whole situation is going to be so confusing for the next few years.

But in the meantime, congrats to the team behind The Simpsons. I haven’t watched since season 10, but good on ya.
