Last Jedi wins a third weekend at the box office

A copy and paste of last week.

The Last Jedi won a third weekend, The latest film in the Star Wars saga took in $52.44M Domestic for a new total Stateside of $517.14M and globally sits at $1.04B.

Second place went to Jumanji with $50.57M, a gain of 38.9 percent over its opening weekend. It now stands at $169.82M domestic and $219.32M globally off of a $90M budget.

Pitch Perfect 3 took in $17.78M, a drop of only 10.8 percent for a new domestic total of $64.26M, and a global haul of $92.86M off of a $45M budget.

Fourth place went to The Greatest Showman with $15.27M, a gain of 73.4 percent. It now sits at $48.78M in the U.S. and $83.95M globally off of a $84M budget.

Ferdinand took fifth place with $11.65M for a new domestic total of $53.81M and $125.73M globally off of a $111M budget.

The major release this week is Insidious 4.
