Justice League wins the weekend at the box office

It may have won, but don’t quite claim victory yet.

Justice League took the top spot at the Box Office this weekend with $96M coming in well under the estimates. Additionally, it was the lowest opening yet for a DCEU film. That’s okay, Warner Brothers, learn absolutely nothing. With its foreign haul of $185.5M it sits at $281.5M.

Second place went to the opening of Wonder with $27M.

Thor: Ragnarok landed in third place this week with $21.78M domestically. Combined with $490.7M overseas for a global total of $738M off of a $180M budget.

Fourth place went to Daddy’s Home 2 with $14.8M for a new total of $50.57M off of a $69M budget.

Murder On the Orient Express took fifth with $13.8M for a new domestic total of $51.72M. With its foreign haul it sits at $148.26M off of a $55M budget.

Major releases this week include Coco.
