Logan slashes its way to the top of the box office

Wolverine is going out on a high note it seems.

Logan took in an impressive $85.3M in its opening Weekend, making it one of the highest grossing debuts for an R-rated feature.

Get Out held on extremely well in its second weekend dropping only 21.8 percent to take in $26.11M. Its new Domestic total sits at $75.95M off of a $4.5M budget.

The Shack opened in third place with $16.1M

The LEGO Batman Movie came in fourth this weekend taking in $11.65M for a new domestic total of $148.63M and $256.83M globally off of a $80M budget.

Rounding out the top five was Before I Fall with $4.94M.

This week will see Beauty and the Beast and The Belko Experiment.

Curious how I think these films will do? Check out my The Movies of 2017 – 1st Quarter report.
