Tomorrow, this website will Turn 16 years old. This website is now old enough to drive. Thinking about that is mind blowing. Last night, I reread my old archives and it was like opening a time capsule. So much life has happened since February 2002. Back then I was a naive 22 year old and now I’m closing in on 40. It’s just crazy.

The reason I launched this site was to publicly exclaim my love for the Patriots and their first Super Bowl Championship. And now as I sit here typing, we are just a few hours away from their TENTH Super Bowl appearance, aiming for their SIXTH FUCKING WIN. Even before the Brady/Belichick era, I always thought they would win the Super Bowl every year. I mean, what’s the point of being a fan if you think your team is going to lose all the time? But then after Super Bowl 36, they kept winning. There were some scandals and unsubstantiated rumors along the way, and don’t even get me started on Deflategate, but trying to really grasp all of this is like trying to visualize the size of a galaxy.

I’m trying to take it all in and appreciate every moment because I know this one could be their last. I don’t know how tonight’s game will turn out. The Eagles are for real. But, I won’t lose faith and if any team can beat them it’s the Pats.
