A well-wisher of mine I hadn’t spoken to in a good while asked yesterday why I wasn't doing anything to satiate my Creative side, before warning: "Don't let your life become all about your family. Live for yourself, too."

Picasso purportedly said, “Every child is an Artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up”. I reflect on how I've expressed myself over the years - drawing, writing poems, stories, blogs, songs, making music, and singing. A lot of people at one time, including myself, thought I would be in creative arts for a living. 

Some still think that and tell me I should continue/restart some of the things they had enjoyed watching me do when I was younger. Do they mean they will still be in the audience when I’m up on stage, or is it just a courtesy thing to say? I’m scared to ask.
