Today I read that Michelin is gradually shutting down its factories in Germany. The country and many others in Europe are undergoing de-industrialization. 

The cost of doing business has risen so sharply that they are no longer competitive. 

This is a self-inflicted problem. So you have to choose your leaders wisely.
