We are back in Japan since the start of Covid 19 pandemic.
Like many countries, Japan has changed somewhat compared to pre-pandemic times. I will elaborate on that later.
Anyway, after arriving, we stayed overnight near Tokyo Station. As usual, we went hunting for food.
The first Restaurant we went to wasn't great by Japanese standard. It would have been decent in Perth but we were in Japan, we adjusted our expectation accordingly.
Rolled eggs.
Tempura prawns.
Chicken bbq.
Not quite satisfied with the first restaurant, we went to another one. This time the food met expectation. Nothing fancy but just simple food well done.
Tonkatsu.
Fried oyster. Japanese can make pretty good fried oysters.
After dinner, we put our head down to rest.
