Wildflower Restaurant - Fallen from grace

Wildflower Restaurant has been our yearly pilgrimage. We looked forward to it as we were impressed with their food in the past but unfortunately not this year.

The quality had dropped significantly and the price was unforgiving.

It started off bad with the waiter mixed sparkling water and still water. The taste was horrible.

Entree was small and uninspiring. Only the boy liked it. He was too easy to be pleased.

Bread was low quality compared to previous years. The bread made the bakery section in Coles felt high class.

While it had low carbon footprint, the thin strips of asparagus were the most budget vegetarian Dish I have ever had.

Beef was actually the only dish that was excellent. Tiny portion though.

Tiny prawns to remind us of the coming global recession.

The smallest dish I have ever had in Western restaurants. Not that tasty either. Didn't know fine dining can be this bad.

Horrible few slices of cucumber with tasteless sauce.

Tiny slices of duck. You could get better duck dish in any random Chinese restaurants in Victoria Park.

Dessert was ok.

Another dessert which also passed.

At least the restaurant was being honest with petit four. Really petite.

Overall thanks but unlikely will return.

Wildflower had gone into our list of restaurants to avoid.
