Dian Xiao Er Restaurant Singapore

After a long while, we visited Singapore.

The country was a very organised, wealthy and clean. A reminder of what Malaysia could have become.

After all, the two were at one stage part of the same country and shared many common roots. But very different government style led to two very different outcome. One prioritised talent, another prioritised race and religion to win votes.

Anyway, enough of grumbling. Back to food.

Our first lunch was at Dian Xiao Er Marina Square.

Food was actually very good.

Their Signature Dish was their roasted duck with angelica herb.

Another signature dish was tofu with wheatgrass.

Sea cucumber. They certainly were not stingy with the amount.

Groupa was rather average. I think for fish, better eat in Malaysia.

Fish maw soup was great too.

Overall, very satisfied. Good first food experience after landed in Singapore. You can't get this quality food in Perth.
