Malaysia has a lot of problem of their own but Anwar Ibrahim thought it was good to hold mega rally to support Palestinian cause. Maybe he thinks this will make him popular. 

Anyway, the conflict will not end if people continue to choose sides. Some will side Palestinians. Others will side Israel. 

Rather the focus should be for the people to co-exist and live together. Both Jews and Arabs have rights to live there.
