Climate Change in Mettam Pool

As today is King's Birthday (yup, believe it or not, Australia has a king) public holiday in Western Australia, we decided to head to the beach.

We went to the stretch of beach near Mettam Pool. We haven't been there for awhile and we wanted to see firsthand the damage of climate change in this area.

The people in Western Australia are clearly oblivious to climate change as the houses right in front of the beach are still worth many millions of dollars. These houses will be submerged under water anytime soon.

Strolling along the beach, we managed to find some seashells devoid of life in it.

While pretty, these are now life-less thanks to catastrophic increase in global temperature.

This water level will soon be several stories tall submerging all the mansions next to the ocean.

More dead shells. In many billions of years or more, these may turn into petroleum, which will not be a problem as everyone will be driving electric vehicles or human no longer exist.

The lone hungry cormorant spreading its wing as it had given up on life. I am sure it was saying "just take my life".

The effects of climate change are too obvious for everyone to see.
