Pantai Tengkorak used to be a public beach.
Now it's a private beach after some people bought it. Apparently, this kind of thing is becoming more common in Langkawi. Maybe the government is broke and wants quick money.
The beach is still very nice. Good place for a bit of swimming.
The surrounding was a bit dirty as the private company did not do a good job cleaning it up.
