Meat and Wine Co is one of the upmarket restaurants in Perth. We decided to visit it again since we were last there several years ago.
The restaurant hasn't changed much. Menu was still pretty the same as we could recall. Though they now have a surcharge of $5 per person for Sunday.
Had their squid which was pretty good. Crunchy on the outside, tender on the inside.
Angus beef burger was decent as well.
Their top wagyu rib-eye was worth an entire GDP of an African nation. Taste was good.
Their scallops, however, was a disappointment. All I could taste was diced vegetables. Maybe there were some microscopic bits of scallops in the dish.
Prawns were a pass but I had expected more from a premium restaurant.
Overall, OK restaurant with very expensive food that charged extra for Sunday.
