Scarred by wintery weather in previous years, once proud and fearless Texans now tremble and cower at the mere mention of a winter storm.

Rain is falling, temperatures are in the thirties and still they cower in their homes afraid to face the outside world. Rather than face a storm head on like their ancestors, they now quiver and quake like a bowl full of jelly.

The streets are not covered in white, the sunlight shall return, but on this fine February day, Texans have retreated to their homes in fear. No brave men or women to defend The Alamo could be found on this day. Instead, all that could be found are people frantically checking and rechecking their phones to see if it is safe to be Texans again.
