Hi guys.

Sorry I've been away for so long.  But as you can see from my last post, I've been busy.

Let's see.  What has been happening in my life?

For one thing, I moved to Maryland.  The casino where I was working in Pennsylvania cut my days down significantly, so I auditioned at a new casino in Maryland, which hired me as a full-time dealer.  Money-wise, it was a no-brainer.

For now.

The second major life change, as you read about last week, is that I am now engaged. 

Individually, these two life changes are wonderful.  Together, however, they present some difficulty.  Fortunately, I have weekends off, so I am able to spend the weekends with my fiancé.  Unfortunately, this is our only time together each week.  It has been tough, but we have been making it work.  The next year will probably see another change for one of us, though, as we decide in which state we want to live.

But enough about me.  How are you?

I'm sorry that I've been away for so long, but I am back for good.  Life is calm enough again for me to get back to writing.

My goal is a modest one: to post once a week.  This will keep me at it, while still giving me some time to pursue other projects.

Like planning a wedding.
