If there is something that people can't live without, I dare say it is the Mobile. Whoever you point out in the market,right from a child to an old gentleman, everyone is sure to carry a mobile in their bag. Enclosed in a little metal or plastic box,this little gadget has changed our lifestyle.Though Martin Cooper wanted to try it for mere communication purpose,this Modern Gadget in now used for everything other than communication.A kid smiles listening to those irritating high pitch sounds called 'ring tones' while a child dances to the tunes produced from the so-called 'music player' and several tourists use it to get a snapshot;not to mention the students who keep on pressing the keypad as if indulged in busy work.....But are we so busy?Can't we complete our work or console a crying baby with our tone than a ring tone?Are the existing tape-recorders and music systems not enough to dance?Is our life so dependent on these mobiles?I wonder why we run after this 'modern gadget' for every task...Graham Bell must have predicted these and stopped at wires...But i doubt if Martin Cooper ever imagined these...
