How to do Affirmations

Have you ever heard about affirmations? Have you ever used them? Do you know how to write your own affirmations?

Affirmations are statements or just a word or two that you repeat to yourself as often as possible until it is set in stone in your Subconscious Mind. Thus altering your behaviour or anything that you would like to change in your life.

An example of an affirmation is: I feel healthy. This statement is positive and in the present tense. It is now! You cannot say: ”I will be fit in three months time”. Your subconscious mind will reject it. Your affirmation should be as if you are now where you want to be in the future. “I am rich”, “I am healthy”, I am slim”.

Your affirmations should also be positive as with everything that you say. You will hear people say: “I don’t want to be fat, poor, sick, etc” instead of saying something like: “I want to be slim, rich, healthy, happy, etc”. Don’t say what you don’t want, say what you want. Say: “I want to be a millionaire” instead of: “I don’t want to be poor”.

Can you see the difference?

To help you, I compiled the 7 Greatest Articles on Affirmations that I could find on the Internet, to help you.
