Socialization is defined as the act of meeting for Social purposes. In reality, it is the adoption of the behavior patterns of the surrounding culture. Now, stop to ask yourself if you really want your children behaving like today's culture behaves? I know that I don't which is 1 of the reasons why I've chosen to homeschool. You see, as homeschooling parents we have the ability to carefully choose our children's social interaction and who has influence over our children's lives. Of course, your children will get plenty of Socialization from the neighborhood kids, church groups, and other outside activities. So, you really don't have to worry about creating activities for them which will only add stress to your life when you should really be concentrating on your family learning together and having fun.
