Some people find comfort in religion, when nearing death. It's hard to fathom how someone can take solace in the thought that the status quo will be preserved, when confronted with the light at the end of the tunnel. I am not getting any more religious; nor am I getting more spiritual--to admit to it would be to invite too many unwelcome connotations. However, I am increasingly comforted by the fact that even if I am unable to accomplish as many great things as I believe I am capable of doing, there are many Brilliant people doing just so. I hope that the increase in the global supply of brilliant people becomes exponential; we are all better for it.
