When you look at the quality you can get from Spain for the price, there is simply just no other wine region that compares in value. I just checked Wine.com the largest online wine retailer and they have 85 different wines for sale under $20 that have scored 90 points or above in the major wine publications.
Just a quick example of this kind of value can be found in Bodegas Muriel 2008 Reserva - Tempranillo Red Wine which scored 95 points in Decanter magazine and can be purchased for only $16.99. That is simply just mad value!!! Find me this type of value in Bordeaux or Burgundy....Let me save you the time, it just doesn't exist.
You don't need to take my word for it though....Go to your local wine shop and check out the prices. I'm not trying to sell you on the idea....do the research and taste the wines. Look at the variety at 90 Point and Above Rated Spainsh wines for $20 or less
