i’ll sound like a goddamn fanboy if i say i love maroon 5’s hands all over album.  i’m no fanboy tho (i sometimes seem like one, i know) so you won’t catch me saying i love it. or maybe i already did but i’m not saying it again.

apparently, maroon 5 is one of my favorite bands. call me jologs and mainstream and shit, i don’t care. i mean, hey, the quintet is pretty good with what they do. they have songs about jane and it won’t be soon before long to prove it. and those two albums are stupendous.

now, i don’t know exactly what happened to hands all over. i like it, i guess. been playing it for a good couple of days now but it hasn’t grown on me like itwbsbl has. dunno, perhaps m5 is going too commercial, too calculated for me. the lyrics and the beat are getting repetitive hence blander. even the album cover is awful or maybe it’s supposed to be plain, literal hands all over. they should have used the hundred-handed giants, no?

misery and get back in my life sound like mediocre tracks from itwbsbl. i can’t lie tries to impress with some funky tunes (and bad lyrics) redolent of sunday morning but fails in each attempt. hands all over (the track) is just plain unforgivable. (and they call it sexy, wth?) the ballads are pretty decent tho. never gonna leave this bed and runaway are the clear winners, no question. both songs please the ears without trying hard to. just don’t listen to the former’s acoustic version, adam sounds like he badly needs to take a leak there.

and can i just say they sing if i ain’t got you better than alicia keys. in your face, sweetheart. ha!
