Is it Tendulkar or Ponting(punter)? Recently ponting was choosen as the wisden player of decade for his considerable performance in the past ten years,where he scored around 9000+ runs more than any player,played in this period.Do we indians digest this fact that sachin wasnt awarded we cant because sachin is the god of cricket especially in india there are diehard fans of little maste.He scored more runs than anyone in both forms of the game,highest in the list of centuries what more you want to consider him as best batsman.The thing is that ponting has shown his class he is the only batsman in the present scenario who can break the records of sachin scoring the runs at an faster rate .Im a great follower of sachin but,diehard fan of ponting both of them went through tough situations then came up with a bang. so,is it the right decision of choosing punter as the best batsman ignoring sachin, survey should be conducted rather than a committee of members,because people are the best judges.
