A fire exit door can also be designated as the main entrance to the building in some smaller buildings. Local building regulations will dictate the number of fire exits required on a property taking into account size and the use the building is designed for as well as the number of people that are using it at any one time. And once if we got a healthy number of people gathered in the building having Fire Exit Doors they shouldn't be locked at that time.
