7) Check your tyres maintaining the right degree of pressure in your car and motorcycle tyres improves on mileage considerably and saves Fuel.

8) Buy energy efficient appliances next time you buy an iron, an oven a refrigerator or even an air conditioner, opt by models by manufacturer whose USP is energy efficiency. It will cut your electricity bills and Indian emission’s level.

9) Prepare for Disaster Dengue and diarrhea cases are expected to rise. Ensure that your local hospitals are well equipped to handle the imminent crises so that recovery is quick and there is minimum loss of life.

10) Buy fuel efficient car agreed, its time to renew our awareness about fuel efficiency not just save to energy but to beat the rise in petrol prices as well. For every liter of petrol consumed, about your kg of carbon dioxide gets injected to the atmosphere. Think about it.

14) Consume less no, we are not expecting you to turn yogi but there is no need to go to the other extreme either. When you are about to buy something ask yourself whether you really need it.

15) Turn the Tap off while soaping your face or shaving. Don’t let the water flow unnecessary. Water is going to be scarce commodity if you don’t learn to conserve it now.

16) Recycle, we are the best recyclers. But it’s good to be reminded of its virtues, lets we forget.

17) Switch to wind power if you are setting a factory in an SEZ or living in a small town, you could champion the case of installing wind mills for most of the electricity generated for use.

18) Shun plastic bags although its an old advice no one really listens. Carry a reusable tote while shopping. It will help reduce emission from decaying plastic bags in landfills.

19) Use public transport doesn’t drive down to the office. Take a metro instead. Also avail the train when you are traveling to another city. Push the government to improve public transport facilities.

20) Save paper if you want to convey something to your friend, do it over the phone or email. Get off the habit of putting everything on paper. Thousand of trees would be saved.

21) Rationalize price of electricity being supplied for free in many states in rural areas, no one really bothers to install energy efficient pumps or for that matter to put off the switches when not using them. Energy shortage is going to be the norm in the age of global warming.

22) Grow more trees remember each one plant one. Trees are the best sinks for carbon dioxide .If every human being planted one we would have six billion trees growing. That could take away thousand of tones of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.

23) Switch to bio fuel start looking seriously at cars that run on alternative fuels. A whole range from biodiesel to ethanol is being readied. Be among the first to drive one of them.

24) Demand clean tech and cut down our emission.

25) Lets other know you may be conserving the natural resources but if your neighbor isn’t you are still a goner, educate others.
