I Lost Bombay Bhel Bet!

Ten reasons why the movie didn't work for me -

1. Anyone remember Rekha in Parineeta? At best one can tolerate one Jazz song in a movie. Bombay Velvet has Full one hour of Jazz Music. Call it a musical no, why call it "shock of narrative"?
2. The story is linearly edited in first half most parts; why switch to non-linear edit in second half?
3. In the Chiman shootout scene there are at least 4 dead-bodies in the club. Johnny has to dispose only Chiman's body, then go to meet Chiman's wife. That was completely unnecessary. What is the message?
4. Johnny claims he doesn't understand English. Yet he reads the diary of Rosie and figures out that her love for him is true and now he must save her from the bomb that he most likely planted? BTW who really planted the bomb? Ok, don't bother, I don't want to find out.
5. Detective Kulkarni wants to know if Rosie is impersonating  her sister. He invites her to the crime scene. She blunders through the scene giving away clues that she is actually Rosie. While we are all so impressed with the skills of Kulkarni please note that he is hiding an important fact. Rosie's mother  & sister were killed by Portuguese police. So when Rosie went to Goa and stayed at her mother's house no one told her. But when Kulkarni went to Goa he found out. What rubbish plot?
6. Who sent the BCCI club meeting photo to Jimmy Mistry's press? Kaizad deduces from what he overheard from Johnny-Rosie conversation is that it was Rosie. So who really send it and that too by registered post?
7. Kaizad says to Rosie at the Race Course that he knows about her relationship with Jimmy and he will keep it a secret from Johnny. Idiots remember Rosie drove in Jimmy's car rejecting the desparate advances from Johnny. He knows it already Sherlock Holmes, what is the big secret?
8. Why is Kaizad alway pouting? He copied Amzad Khan style laughter from Sholay quite well. Totally terrorised the shit out of audiences!
9. The idea of Johnny vs Japani boxing match in the climax scene was inserted after disappointing performances by Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao's Fight of Century. Completely useless, meaningless, worthless piece of climax scene, especially after the Tommy Gun scene.
10. Not a single memorable dialogue.

For once I agree with KRK and his analysis of the movie.
