Tyrants come and go–but not truth

“Birthless, deathless and changeless remaineth the spirit forever; Death hath not touched it at all, dead though the house of it seems.”–The Bhagavad Gita

I was a seven-year-old child in Britain when a Tyrant Named Hitler strutted onto the world stage and unleashed the forces of hatred and fear upon the world. Hitler’s reign did not last, however, and his life came to a rather ignominious end in a Berlin bunker.

Even so, I suggest, the reign of a modern-day tyrant named Vladimir Putin will not last, but in God’s good time, will come to its inevitable end.

How beautiful the words of the Gita are: “Birthless, deathless and Changeless Remaineth the spirit forever.” Putting it another way, tyrants come and go–but truth does not come and go.

I salute the courage and gallantry of the Ukrainian people, the strength of their spirit, their manifest, unconquerable love of their country.  May their cause gather new strength with each passing day.

I salute also all those people and nations who in whatever way are assisting the nation of Ukraine in its titanic struggle against a tyrant named Putin.

I send my love and blessings to you. If you have any thoughts on the above, please share.
