What a wonder life is

What a wonder life is. I’d like to share with you, if I may, some of the wonders that I have Experienced or am experiencing in my life. At the same time, I’d like to invite you to share some of the special moments or experiences that have enhanced your life, if you so wish.

Sometimes, for example, when I am sitting at my computer, puzzling perhaps about this or that, my dear wife will steal up quietly behind me, put her arms around me, and gently massage the back of my neck. Yes, it’s a simple enough gesture. But the comfort and encouragement it stirs in me is enormous.

How about this. I looked out of our front door window last evening and there was one of our resident bunnies sitting proudly in front of his home beneath our front porch, the very picture of contentment as he looked out at the world around him. He had his eye on my wife and me, of course. But as long as we didn’t speak too loudly he was content and at peace with himself.

Our automobile is a wonder. It’s a 1996 Nissan Maxima, with 172,000 miles on the clock, but no kidding, it has the heart of a lion. We call our car James. James likes to go fast, and we have to rein him in quite often.

There are many other wonders that brighten my day, but above all I am thankful for Stillness, and the part that stillness plays in helping me navigate life’s challenges and find meaning and happiness in life.

Being still helps me find peace. Being still helps me tap into my intuition and sense what the right thing is to do—or not do—in some situation. I find, as I age, that there is no bottom to stillness–no bottom to the truth and Love that abide in stillness and which are our true heritage in this life.

What are some of the wonders that you have experienced or are experiencing in your life? If you have any thoughts on the above, I’d love to hear from you. Love and blessings to you.
